I hate to make this post but my family and I need help.
We’re poor and struggling, and the stress of it all is killing us. Not only are we a big family, but we have to take care of my boyfriend’s two grandmas on top of it- One who we just found out has throat cancer and has been in and out of the hospital due to complications related to it, and the other who is developing Alzheimer’s so my boyfriend and I are taking care of her 24/7. (We have no income coming in from this either.)
We’re barely getting by and not only are we emotionally and mentally drained, but stress, lack of proper sleep, and having issues with our pharmacy is affecting us physically. We’ve had to push our own well-being and personal lives aside for everything else, and we’re exhausted and desperate. Anything helps.

My laptop is a piece of shit. I’ve had it for years now and I should’ve known that this day would come much sooner than I thought.
Ergo, I’m asking for your help in raising funds for this new laptop. I’ve got my eye on the Asus Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED, which has everything I want in a laptop and is a content creator’s/editor’s/multi-tasker’s needs.
I want to work for every cent for this laptop, but I won’t say no to donations either. It’s very important to me to get a proper laptop that can not only stand the test of time and also be useful as someone who makes/edits videos and multitasks like crazy because of my ADHD lol.
It’s a bit pricey, but I do think Asus is asking a fair price based on everything they’ve packed into the laptop. And I have my heart set on this one, so I’m asking for your help in commissioning me so I can get it and be set for the next half-decade or more.

so; to sum it up we bought a house in 2020. we are by no means financially well off, lmao obviously, but my fiancée had evictions and nowhere would accept us so we bought a house with my good credit. it has been nothing short of an nightmare. all the maintenance and work that has gone into it has been fucking exhausting to say the least. we’ve sunk i think about 7 grand into this place - through my credit cards (which are all maxed out) and found out recently through pest control we have mold growing in our attic due to not having a vent in the fucking roof like we’re supposed to. (which the pest control guy who used to do mold remediations said this type is deadly and could make us very very sick in the long run.) this house is a joke; we’ve had numerous mice infestations, i’ve been bitten by 2 brown recluses, we’ve had trees fall and damage our personal property, my friend fell THROUGH MY FLOOR, we literally have a giant hole in the kitchen floor!!! etc. basically this house is not safe to live in and we were scammed by the investor & realtor who got us into this place and passed it off as new. for example, they literally just laid a roof on top of the old one 😒 yeah. anyway! the good news is we’re not stuck here and we can sell and get some money back but we need to find an apartment and y’all weren’t kidding it’s literally ridiculous now. we have a dog so we’ll have to pay $25 pet rent on top of a $300 pet fee, we make too much to apply for income based, and we gotta get a uhaul ($100 if not more) and the deposit, etc all the fees that come with renting, like the first months rent which will be around 650-750, app fees, etc.
i’m gonna set our goal tentatively for 1250. we are hoping to move in january but literally any time sooner would be a blessing. i know it’s a lot to ask and a big ask but whether it’s $5 2 cents or 50$ we very much appreciate it. i just, stupidly, realized we do not have the money at all to move rn due to all we’ve paid for. we also were not even aware we could move yet due to our loan; we met with a realtor recently and found out otherwise. so anyway all that being said, please please share, donate if you can, and scroll past if you feel some type of way bc i am stressed to the max and don’t wanna hear it. also prayers and good vibes etc are always always appreciated by us as well 🩷🩷🩷 thank you all for everything and it means a lot to me!

my old post isn’t gaining much traction unfortunately and my circumstances changed a bit. I’m an underemployed server most of my money comes from tourist tips but no one comes to town when it’s so hot outside so I’ve been bringing home paychecks that are barely $200 since I’ve been getting cut before I even clock in. My landlady was nice enough to knock so monry off the rent as she knows this but I’m still $350 short and 16 days past due. I also have a electric bill that’s 4 days past due that’s $154 it’s a 110 degrees here I can’t lose power please help me. as always I’m sorry for asking

i think something that’s missing from a lot of discussions around trans men is the idea that they could genuinely just navigate life As Men.
tbh i think all trans men are held to social expectations of men (tho not always exclusively) & a lot of what is erroneously described as “trans/androphobia” is just the normal male gendered expectations anxiety.
but to assert that trans men exclusively get socially classified as “Confused women” is just silly and untrue.
like, this idea that ASAB forever determines ur life is deeply essentialist, no?
idk maybe this is why i personally don’t follow the thought that cis & trans people are discrete separate entities.
